How do you determine your suggested print size for each image?
Firstly, we determine it off the pixel size of an image. For example: 1500 x 1100 pixels at 300 pixels per inch would usually be a suggested print size of 11 x 14 inches. However, some of the images we have are 'grainy' in nature, which is why we would suggest a lower print size even if there's lots of pixels and dots per inch. For example, you may run across an image that is 3300 x 2000 pixels, but our suggested print size is 13 x 19 inches. This is not a mistake. In this sort of case, we have deemed that the image is too grainy to go up to the full size listed in pixels.
However, these are only suggestions. In many cases, you can go up to 50% beyond what we suggest and still have a quality picture. We are simply conservative in our suggestions.

Where did my download go???
First of all, did you use Google Checkout? If so, there is a delay process between the time you pay and the time it takes us to confirm your payment (it's just the nature of Google Checkout, sorry) and email the download link. This delay shall be no longer than three business days. For all other methods of payment, the download link should immediately appear after you pay. If not, contact us with your order number, and we will email you the link to your individual download page (we completely understand that computers crash, power goes out, earthquakes happen, and downloads get lost in the nether regions of the Internet).

What do I do with a digital download?
For lots of ideas on what to do with downloads, visit our art tips & ideas page (listed in the column to your left).

~or~ Save the image to a flash drive or burn it on a CD/ DVD, and take it to a print shop of your choice. This option gives you more versatility on what you can get your image printed on and what size of picture you can get (depending on the print shop of course).

Many of our customers like taking their images to places like Kinkos, Costco, Walmart or Walgreens to get their images printed and customized.

I keep adding to my cart, but it keeps saying empty?
This is most likely the security settings on your Web browser. When your security settings are too high (for some browsers), it wont allow the necessary digital cookie to be created for a product to be added to the shopping cart. We suggest that you temporarily turn down your Web browser's security settings for purchasing an image(s).

Do you recommend any printer papers?
It depends on what you like and what your printer can do. If you have a photo or color printer, then you can most likely print on glossy/matte photo paper. One of our choices for budget art printing is Epson premium presentation paper, which is available at most big computer stores. It’s rigid like an index card, non glossy, and delivers superb detail. Checkout out our prints & posters tip page for further information.

Don't you mean PPI (pixels per inch) instead of DPI (dots per inch)?
Yes. More people relate to dpi though. Apologies to the techies out there.

Where do you get your images?
We photograph or scan our images from paintings, etchings, engravings, lithographs and other vintage prints. We then restore each image digitally before uploading it to the Website. We spend anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours on restoring individual images. In some cases, we add or subtract color, remove blemishes, diminish graininess, and adjust hues and exposure. We pride ourselves in fine-art photography and digital restoration so you get remastered images.

Which Bible do you get your Scripture quotes from?

Are you endorsed by the Catholic Church?
